Brighton Marathon: Take on a challenge for FBB!

FBB are looking for 2 amazing people to help us raise funds by running the Brighton Marathon on April 9th 2017!

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country’s most vibrant cities. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront.

FBB Head of Delivery Jasper Kain, said “Thanks to fantastic fundraisers we have grown significantly in the past year. We want to continue to provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with the opportunity to engage in key activities outside of school. Donations help us to ensure that each of our 300 participants are able to go on a football tour as a reward for their hard work.”

Back in April, Adam and Charlie from Southampton University, ran a half-marathon to raise funds for FBB. Adam said “Testing my limits to achieve a personal goal is rewarding. But, when you know that your efforts are going towards a greater cause, limits become non-existent and the marathon became a stroll in the park.” Charlie concluded with “FBB allowed me to discover a new hobby I never thought I’d have, bring on the 2017 half marathon!”

SIGN UP DEADLINE: FRIDAY 24TH FEBRUARY
