Player Profile: Charlie from Chestnut Grove Academy

On the 4th November Charlie from Chestnut Grove Academy was one of five from our FBB Schools programme that went to Woodrow High House for the weekend to compete in London Youth’s Woodrow Cup. The boys were chosen based on their commitment to FBB, attendance and attitude to learning at school. Our boys showed great resilience throughout the tournament having just 5 players with no subs, they played every minute of every game and in the end, they were unfortunate to lose out in the plate final on penalties 10-9! Check out the highlights video below made by FBB Productions.

FBB Productions also produced a fantastic player profile on Charlie which you can also see below:

Liam Baxter, FBB Social Media Manager said “The Woodrow Cup was a fantastic opportunity to reward hard-working participants for their commitment to the programme. The team grew as players both on and off the pitch over the course of the weekend and met other young people from the FBB Family.”

A massive thank you to FBB Productions for the great videos, London Youth and Watford FC Trust for running the event and Woodrow High House for being fantastic hosts.
