Football Beyond Borders & Video Europe announce new partnership for FBB TV

Football Beyond Borders and Video Europe are pleased to announce a new partnership which will see the two organisations work closely together on the new initiative FBB TV.

Football Beyond Borders is a youth charity which uses the power of football to enable young people to achieve their goals and make their voices heard. FBB TV is our latest initiative, a youth led online media channel which gives young people the opportunity to produce football related video content. Video Europe have agreed to support this initiative by providing advice, guidance and equipment to help us expand our projects.

The news comes on the back of a successful launch for the channel which saw over £7,500 raised through a crowdfunding campaign and several initial films including a viral internet sensation with FBB Patron Santi Cazorla which has been viewed over 200,000 times. Video Europe supplied the equipment for this event and have been keen to support FBB where possible.

Tom Smith, Digital Cinema Manager at Video Europe says: “We are pleased to support FBB TV, this exciting youth led initiative. It is great to see a vehicle that can combine football and media, and its a brilliant way of training up the next generation of film makers with useful transferable skills.”

Jasper Kain, Founder of Football Beyond Borders: “We are delighted that Video Europe have agreed to support FBB TV. Their rich experience and expertise is second to none and will be extremely important in making the venture a success which will help hundreds of young participants to develop their media skills along the way.”
