Football Beyond Borders are delighted to announce the opening of the new FBB Tours social enterprise and the launch of the new website www.fbbtours.com
FBB Tours offers young people the chance to attend unique, high-quality football tours combined with social and personal development and an immersive cultural experience. Since the birth of FBB in 2009, FBB staff have organised and run over 15 football tours to destinations across the UK, Africa, Europe, South America and the Middle East. The experiences and contacts gained from these tours have been used to set up the new FBB Tours enterprise as a way of supporting the charity side of FBB. Profits from FBB Tours will go back into the charity and help to fund FBB’s charity programmes.
FBB Tours are able to design and deliver bespoke football tours for players, schools and clubs that not only develop participants as footballers but also offer more holistic personal development – improving their confidence, leadership, language and social skills.
FBB’s Head of Academies, Joseph Watfa said: “We are very excited to get FBB Tours off the ground. Our extensive experience in delivering tours coupled with our links to football clubs and organisations means we are fantastically positioned to deliver high quality football tours.”
“Beyond this, our experience working with young people in football and education through our FBB Wanderers and FBB Schools programmes gives us valuable expertise in providing holistic football development programmes for young people.”
Not only are FBB Tours offering bespoke tours for schools and clubs, FBB Tours are also offering two elite-level football tours – in London & Scotland – this summer. To find out more about these tours and other FBB Tours programmes please visit: www.fbbtours.com
