“My behaviour has changed for the better since joining FBB. I don’t think I’ve had more than 10 detentions in the whole year, which is a big change compared to last year where I got detentions all the time. My teachers don’t tell me off anymore and my grades have improved a lot. It’s helped me to realise that I am intelligent and can go on to be successful. Antar, has helped me a lot with emotional support. It’s changed my opinion on how important emotional support can be when times are tough.”

Hardworking, diligent, and intelligent.

Annoying, hardworking, cheeky.
What are your passions/hobbies?
I’ve been interested in freerunning since I was 6 years old. I used to watch loads of the videos on YouTube which got me into it. I use it as an opportunity to keep active and have fun when I'm not at school. I have a few friends at school now who do it with me and that is the way we catch up when we aren’t in school.
I never used to be good at football when I was younger but I really wanted to be. I first really got into it by watching the challenge videos on YouTube and that made me want to work really hard to improve and get better at it. If I could compare myself to a player on the pitch, it would probably be Morata. I may not score all the time but when I do it’s usually a banger.
I am a big gamer and love playing Xbox. I do this whenever I get the time outside of school and playing sports. I don’t just like to play games, I try to complete them and win every achievement you can on the game.
What are some of the challenges you’ve faced before FBB?
One of my biggest challenges before I joined FBB was my confidence with playing football around my classmates. My behaviour was not good in school, I was one of the worst behaved in my year group. I never really liked school, I got kicked out of primary school and didn’t really want to engage unless I knew my friends were going to be there.
How has FBB helped you to overcome those challenges?
My behaviour has changed for the better since joining FBB. I don’t think I've had more that 10 detentions in the whole year, which is a big change compared to last year where I got detentions all the time. My teachers don’t tell me off anymore and my grades have improved a lot. It’s helped me to realise that I am intelligent and can go on to be successful. Antar, has helped me a lot with emotional support. It’s changed my opinion on how important emotional support can be when times are tough.
What has been your favourite experience with FBB so far?
When Antar let us lead our own classes. It’s something i’ve never done before and it felt good for the fact that we’ve made someone else look forward to something every week. We went from being taught to being the teachers.
What do you hope to do in the future?
I want to become a builder when I am older. It’s something I like doing as I like building things from scratch.
