Kenza's Story

The Elmgreen School, Graduate

When Kenza joined FBB, she found herself in arguments with teachers and peers semi-regularly and was on the brink of being excluded from school. Her home life was challenging and in school she struggled to control her impulses and manage her triggers.

Through working with FBB, Kenza's self-awareness increased, she improved her relationships with teachers and set he sights on becoming a lawyer. She achieved her GCSE in maths, as well, as a Level 7 in English.

In 2019, we arranged a week's work experience for Kenza at an all female law firm specialising in mental health and prison law.

Kenza now works part-time for FBB, supporting younger female students to follow in her footsteps. Alongside her work, she is studying for A-Levels in English Literature, Philosophy and History.
