“FBB has helped me see how much I can grow as a person. Before FBB i wouldn’t talk to people and didnt have as much confidence. I had my own group of friends, and FBB has helped me get to know different groups of friends that I wouldn’t have gotten to know. Stefan has helped me to open up to people easier since he came in. He’s helped me to not act in a bad way and has showed me that i dont have to act bad or be naughty to get attention. “
Which year group are you in?

Confident, kind, and funny.

Loud, fidgety, and smart.
What are your passions/hobbies?
When I have free time, I love watching different series and shows on netflix. It helps me to know how people are living in different places, and so the shows I like watching involve people living in different settings that i do. I find it interesting to understand how different environments affect how they live. My favourite subject in school is D&T.
When I work out it allows me to feel relaxed and notice how the body changes over time. I got into it a year ago when I just decided to go to the gym. Going to the gym helps me to feel more confident when i go to School, I didn’t really used to like my body as i was very skinny, now i feel a lot more confident with myself.
What are some of the challenges you’ve faced before FBB?
Before FBB I struggled to concentrate in class. I was always fidgeting in class which made it difficult for me to focus and get my head down. I used to judge people based on stereotypes and I knew that wasn’t right. I didn’t really mix with different groups of people and my friendship group was smaller than it is now.
How has FBB helped you to overcome those challenges?
FBB has helped me see how much I can grow as a person. Before FBB i wouldn’t talk to people and didnt have as much confidence. I had my own group of friends, and FBB has helped me get to know different groups of friends that I wouldn't have gotten to know. Stefan has helped me to open up to people easier since he came in. He’s helped me to not act in a bad way and has showed me that i dont have to act bad or be naughty to get attention.
What has been your favourite experience with FBB so far?
The FBB Woodrow Tour was my best experience. I got to see different young people from all over London. I got to play football with other people and play football with young people from other schools. It showed me how FBB works in other schools.
What do you hope to do in the future?
I don't know to be honest, I go to work with my dad a lot, he’s a plumber and works in construction. I get to see things and learn how to build things. My favourite topic in school is design and technology and with that I get to create things from scratch which I enjoy a lot.
Quote from FBB Project Lead
"Jaiden was unsure about football when he joined us and also struggled to express himself in our classroom sessions. By the end of the year 1 program he had written the stand out piece for our public product 'Be Your Best Self', in which he eloquently described his own journey to improve his behaviour and be a more positive, productive and happy version of himself. He is one of the kindest, most caring and talented members of the group and someone who others in his year group look up to as an example."
Quote from your link teacher
"Jaiden's desire for continual improvement has seen him strive to learn how to be the best version of himself . He has developed his confidence which he now uses in a productive way and since FBB he displays leadership through kindness and patience."
